Overview
Septoplasty reshapes the wall between the nostrils so air can pass more evenly. People seek it after trauma, a lifelong blockage, or a previous operation that left the airway tight. It does not automatically change how the nose looks from the outside. If the dorsum or tip also needs work, that is a septorhinoplasty and a different consent. Sleep studies, allergy treatment, and turbinate plans may come first. Meridia will not sell septoplasty as a snoring cure or as a hidden rhinoplasty.
